NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss – At least 38 students in Neshoba County were taken to the hospital after being involved in an accident where four school buses collided Monday, according to the Neshoba Democrat.
It happened on East Main Street just before 3:30 p.m. These were Neshoba Central buses.
Resource Officer Bill Howell said the first bus was not able to turn on Evergreen Ave. because it was closed for utility work; this caused a domino effect and the buses collided with one another.
School officials said the students were taken to the hospital for precautionary measures. A bus driver was also taken the hospital. No one was seriously injured.
