JACKSON, MS – A man has been arrested after committing several auto burglaries.

According to the Madison Police Department, on May 29, 2015, employees at the Xerox Corporation called police to report seeing a suspicious suspect breaking into multiple vehicles in the parking lot at 384 Galleria Parkway.

When they arrived, police found 24-year-old Patrick Jeremy Rodgers and took him into custody without incident. Rodgers had allegedly stolen handguns from three vehicles and put them in a Crown Victoria with three small children inside.

The children are now with their mother. Rodgers faces three counts of auto burglary and his bond was set at $100,000 per count, totaling $300,000. He is expected to face other charges.
