JACKSON, Miss. – Police are looking for a man who they say is connected to a gas station shooting that happened Wednesday.
Police said 22-year-old Johnsha Clark is facing charges of aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling. A warrant is out for his arrest.
Police said they were called to Baptist Hospital around 6:48 p.m. because a shooting victim had been taken there.
Their investigations determined that the shooting happened at Spur Service Station on E. Fortification Street near West Street. The victim was shot multiple times while he was sitting in his car.
We’re told he was transferred from Baptist to UMMC.
The suspect possibly left the scene in a dark colored Mercury car. Police still don’t know a motive for a shooting.
Police said at last check, the victim was still in critical condition.
