3 compete in Rankin County Superintendent’s race

RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – All over the county, voters have lined up at the polls to vote for many races including the Rankin County Superintendent’s election.

Three candidates are on the ballot today.
Richard Morrison is an insider in the Rankin County School District he currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent. Sue Townsend is a long-time educator with 29 years of experience.

Bobby Franklin is a college professor who also lives in Brandon. It’s possible that tonight we could see a new Rankin County Superintendent for the first time since 1999.
