BOLTON, MS (WJTV) – The Hinds county sheriff’s office is now saying that they have not determined if the woman whose remains were found in Bolton was raped.
An investigator erroneously reported the rape findings, when in fact, the body was tied and “wrapped.”
It is unknown if the woman was sexually assaulted in any way at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
