MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — Two Madison County residents are in jail for exploitation of a vulnerable person.
According to Attorney General Jim Hood, 52-year-old Lori Hickson and 54-year-old Lisa Bradshaw are charged with the crime.
AG Hood tells us that they were indicted by a grand jury.
The indictment claims that the two women were housekeepers and caregivers when they took more than $100,000 from the victim’s bank account.
They are accused of writing checks to themselves from his account and taking the money without permission. These transactions were done over six months.
Hickson and Bradshaw each face up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 in fines if they are convicted.
