TUNICA, Miss. — A teacher is dead after collapsing in her classroom Tuesday.
Students were in the class at Robinsonville Elementary School when their teacher, Sharonda Johnson, collapsed at 8 a.m.
School staff performed CPR, and when paramedics arrives, they performed Advanced Life Support while taking her to the hospital.
However, it was not enough. She was pronounced dead at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, Tunica County Coroner Glenn Grant said.
The toxicology report is pending.
