Chad Kelly stays grounded heading into first SEC start

WJTV – After leading No. 15 Ole Miss to being the first SEC team ever to score at least 73 points in back-to-back games, Chad Kelly has impressed many.

The junior transfer has thrown for 557 yards and leads the SEC in passing touchdowns with six. But it was obvious that the level of competition in those first two games was not very high.

That changes this week when Kelly and the Rebels travel to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 2 Alabama in Kelly’s first SEC start. The Rebels have lost 12 straight in Tuscaloosa while Alabama is tied with Baylor for the longest home winning streak in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
