JACKSON, MS (WJTV) – According to Sherwin Johnson with Jackson Public schools, The City of Jackson has canceled the boil water notice for Murrah High School at 10 AM on September 21, 2015.
Jackson, MS (WJTV) – A boil water alert has been issued for Murrah High School.
Thursday evening, Jackson officials issued the alert because of a loss of pressure from a service line repair.
While the school is under the boil water notice, officials with Jackson Public Schools tell us students and staff will be served refrigerated breakfast and sack lunches with bottled water.
JPS officials also brought in portable coolers filled with water to replace the water fountains at Murrah High.
The boil water notice will be in effect for at least two days. It will only be lifted after two consecutive days of clear testing.
