Front wall of Tennessee business collapses

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The front wall of a business in the heart of Hillsboro Village collapsed early Thursday afternoon.

It happened at Village Cleaners on the corner of 21st and Acklen avenues just before 12:30 p.m.

There were two people inside at the time. No one was injured, according to WKRN.

Authorities told WKRN a parapet wall collapsed, with some debris falling on a gas line. The gas was shut off as a precaution until Piedmont gas officials can respond.

21st Avenue is predominately shut down in the area while crews remain on the scene.
