JACKSON, Miss. – It’s a much anticipated trip, as Pope Francis will touch down in the states Tuesday. Aad Delange will meet His Holiness in Philadelphia for The World Meeting of Families event.

“I think it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. He’s very down to Earth. He talks to the normal man in the street and he has a very outspoken view on things that people like to hear.”

On Thursday, Pope Francis will give a historic speech to the U.S. Congress.

“I hope they listen to him. And I feel and this is my own opinion, that politicos are really not too much concerned about the poor and they really need to open their ears to his message,” says Elsa Baughman. This will be her second time to see the “Man of the Moment”.

“He has brought a lot of humility that you know, not that other popes were not humble, but he has shown through his actions,” adds Baughman.
