UPDATE: The gas leak has been repaired, according to officials.
BRANDON, MS (WJTV) -According to Division Chief Ben Warren with Brandon Fire and Rescue, crews have located both severed gas lines and are currently repairing them.
The gas has been turned off.
One fire truck is on standby in case of an emergency.
The lines were reportedly accidentally severed when a crew was working to install signal light arms.
BRANDON, MS – According to Brandon PD, there has been a natural gas line break at the corner of Overby Street and West Government Street.
They also say West Government Street traffic is open while Overby Street is currently closed.
