JACKSON, Miss (WJTV) – The Mississippi State Department of Health issued three boil-water alerts for the Jackson Metropolitan area.
Two are located in Rankin County.
About 180 customers who receive their water from the city of Brandon in the Easthaven Subdivision are under advisory due to pressure loss of one or more line breaks.
Pelahatchie Bay issued an advisory for approximately 300 customers in the Audubon Subdivision, Audubon Point Drive , and the north part Swallow Drive Sandpiper Road, Red Start Road, Falcon Court, Audubon Court, Martin Drive, Wren Place, and Pelican Place, to include Glen Cove, Paradise Point, Sunrise Point, Hanover, Camilla Trail, Red Bud Trail and Magnolia Trail. This boil-alert is also due to pressure loss due to one or more line breaks.
The city of Jackson issued a precautionary boil-water notice for the following areas due to the recent loss in water pressure until further notice:
