WJTV – Copiah-Lincoln Community College has forfeited its first two wins of the 2015 season due to an ineligible player.
The Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges ruled the Wolfpack played with an ineligible player against East Mississippi and Itawamba.
So with the forfeiture of two wins, the team’s record is now 3-4 instead of 5-2.
The Wolfpack were the top-ranked team in junior college football for four weeks but are now on a two-game losing streak, dropping them to No. 14.
Copiah-Lincoln will host No. 7 Mississippi Gulf Coast on Oct. 15.
