Former Greenville officer charged with 1st degree murder in husband’s death

GREENVILLE, Miss. (WJTV) — A former Greenville officer is charged with first degree murder for the death of her husband.

Attorney General Jim Hood said 41-year-old Kvonya Moore was arrested Tuesday.

Moore is accused of shooting her husband in the head with her service weapon causing his death.

The incident happened at their home on May 2, 2015.

Her bond has been set at $500,000. If convicted, Moore faces up to life in prison.
