2 Brandon residents arrested for selling fake SEC football tickets

FLOWOOD, Miss. (WJTV) — Two Brandon residents were arrested for selling fake football tickets to Southeastern College games.

Flowood Police said Christopher Lynn Kyzar and Layla McCall were arrested in an undercover sting operation.

The ticket sales were being made on online on CraigsList.

The tickets had accurate information, but the bar code on the ticket that is scanned on game day a the gate were copied from previous games.

Tickets were listed and negotiated for sale for $200.

Kyzar is charged with two counts of wire fraud and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony. Carpenter is charged with two counts of ticket sales exceeding face value, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and two counts of accessory after the fact.

If convicted, they could face up to to 20 years in prison.
