CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Drivers passing through Clinton will soon get the chance to drive on Hampstead Boulevard.
The road has been cleared to be open for travel by the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
City officials believe the roadway will help drive traffic to the businesses in Hammett’s Crossing
The project cost about $3 million. City leaders said it was mainly paid for by funds allocated from MDOT.
The city will hold an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. in front of Morrison Heights.
