WJTV – According to a RebelGrove.com report, Ole Miss senior linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche is in an intensive care unit at an Oxford hospital.
The report states the reasons for Nkemdiche’s hospitalization are unknown. It also states Nkemdiche was admitted to Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi on Monday and was conscious as of Wednesday night.
Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze said on Wednesday that Nkemdiche is questionable for the LSU game on Nov. 21 for personal reasons.
Nkemdiche leads the Rebels in tackles this season with 53. He is also third on the team in tackles for loss with 6.5.
The senior is a former All-SEC second team selection and first team Freshman All-American. He is also the older brother of Rebel junior defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche.
