Person making delivery at Burger King robbed at gun point; 2 arrested

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Two people are arrested after they allegedly robbed a person making a delivery at the Burger King on Terry Road, police said.

Police charged Brodrick Giles and Wesley Brown with the armed robbery of an individual.
Police said the incident happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The victim was dropping off a delivery at the restaurant when the crime occurred.

The robber left the scene in a silver Pontiac and there were others in the car, according to police.

Precinct 1 officers saw a car matching that description while they were out on patrol near Greenwood Avenue on the Frontage Road.

Police said Giles and Brown were arrested after a short foot chase.
