Third man charged in burglaries before Blackburn murder

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A third man has been charged in connection to the burglaries committed before Amanda Blackburn was shot in her home last month.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office announced on Monday that Diano Gordon is now also accused in two burglaries and an auto theft on Nov. 10.

According to court documents, Gordon is accused of committing the burglaries with Larry Jo Taylor Jr. and Jalen Watson that morning. A car and some personal items were stolen during the first burglary.

Officials say Gordon has been charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft for his role in the two burglaries.

Taylor and Watson have been charged in Blackburn’s murder. They’ve also been charged with other felonies related to the burglary at the Blackburn’s home and the two burglaries committed earlier that morning.
