JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — The City of Jackson is shutting down eastbound lanes on part of Woodrow Wilson as crews work to repair a water transmission line.
The lanes will be closed for about three hours from Peachtree Street up until the VA Hospital.
Crews will install a steel plate over a hole that has formed because of the leaking water transmission line.
City officials said the plate is a temporary solution to fix the problem while city crews are waiting to receive quotes for the construction work.
