Four Arrested In Armed Robbery

RAYMOND, Miss. — Raymond police arrested four juveniles after an armed robbery. It happened around 8:45 Friday night at the Dollar General on East Main Street.

Police say two male suspects walked into the store holding guns while two other suspects waited in a gray Chevy Impala.

Police were able to catch up to them on Highway 18 in Jackson but they refused to stop.

Raymond police chased the suspects to Mcdowell Road where Jackson Police and Hinds County Deputies stopped the vehicle.

They arrested 17 year old Dominick Robinson, 17 year old Ca’woin Johnson, 16 year old Javonte Washington, and an unidentified 12 year old.

All are charged with armed robbery. The three older suspects are being held at the Raymond Detention Center on $50,000 bond. The 12 year old is currently at the Henley-Young Youth Detention Center.

No one was harmed during the pursuit or the robbery.
