JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — A woman is charged in connection with the Trustmark Bank robbery investigation.
Police said 45-year-old Lisa Benjamin is charged with accessory after the fact of bank robbery for being in possession of the stolen money and having knowledge of the scheme to rob the bank.
The Trustmark Bank on E. Capitol Street was robbed on January 21.
Benjamin is the third person to be arrested in this investigation.
Police arrested 22-year-old Boris Lenoir and charged him with one count of bank robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit bank robbery. Police said Lenoir was a teller at the bank. His relative, 23-year-old Stephen Gibson, was the first suspect arrested. He turned himself in.
Police sad the robbery was planned.
