NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Chipotle’s eight Middle Tennessee locations will be closed for lunch Monday for a company-wide food safety meeting.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, all Chipotle locations will close for the meeting. Employees will review updated food safety protocols at the meeting.

The move comes after an E.coli outbreak in 2015 sickened around 500 people. On Feb. 1, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced the outbreak “appeared to be over”.

The cause of the outbreak remains unknown.
