CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Clinton Police Chief Michael Warren will retire after 34 years on the force.
Chief Warren will pursue another role in the law enforcement field. He will announce his future plans in the coming days.
Chief Warren’s retirement will become effective February 29, 2015.
Chief Warren served as Chief of Police for the last three years. Warren served 14 years as a Captain before accepting the position of Chief.
Mayor Phil Fisher has appointed Assistant Chief Mike Gill as interim Chief of Police until the city can complete the hiring process.
