Business owner exchanges gunfire with men who tried to rob his restaurant

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that happened at a seafood restaurant.

Police went to Willy’s Seafood on Northside Drive on Sunday night around 10 p.m.

JPD said three men with masks came inside and shots were fired. We’re told the owner exchanged gunfire between the suspects.

WILLIE SEAFOODGlass was shattered during the shootout. One employee was injured from the shattered glass.

The suspects got away, but the didn’t get a change to take any money.
