JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — The City of Jackson is still on a system-wide boil water alert.
City officials said they are still waiting for sampling results to return. Residents will be notified as soon as the notice is lifted.
The City was placed on a boil water advisory Thursday night after a valve issue occurred at the J.H. Fewell facility due to weather-related power outages at the O.B. Curtis facility.
The issues led to widespread outages in the City of Jackson. Crews were able to make repairs to resolve the issues. The boil water advisory will be lifted after two consecutive days of clear sampling.
