JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson Public Schools are back in session this week after spring break.
Students returned to classes Monday.
As a result of the system-wide boil water advisory for the City of Jackson, the schools are taking precautions for the students.
According to Sherwin Johnson of JPS, students and staff are being served alternative breakfast and lunches that do not require the use of water. They have also temporarily stopped using water fountains.
