2. Oklahoma — Buddy Hield. With apologies to Denzel Valentine at Michigan State, Hield could be the best player in this tournament. Oklahoma’s leading scorer has hit game-winning shots this year and lifted his team against elite competition. His game at Kansas this season, in a losing effort, was so strong he received a standing ovation from KU fans.

15. Cal St. Bakersfield — The Roadrunners (real nickname) are fresh off their win at the WAC Tournament and can lock down teams defensively, holding opponents to less than 64 points per game.

PREDICTION: Oklahoma should win this one by a bunch.
