Jackson, Miss. (WJTV) — There are several events happening in the Metro today.

  • Make A Wish Carnival for Kentric Stubbs Robinson

  • Barnett Reservoir Boat Show
    9 AM – 5 PM
    The Ross Barnett Reservoir, Ridgeland
    Come out and see the latest offerings in recreation – water sports, biking, camping and more! Continues Sunday.
  • La’Porsha Renae from American Idol Final 4 Makes Hometown Visit
    A parade will start at 4 p.m. at the corner of Main Street and Highway 51 in McComb, Miss. and ends at Delaware Ave. and West Ave.
    Renae will perform at 5 p.m. directly behind the high school at the corner of Virginia Ave. and James St.
  • City of Jackson Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    12 PM
    VA Legion Softball Complex, 4500 Officer Thomas Catchings Sr. Dr.
  • Olde Towne Clinton Spring Clean Up
    9 AM – 1 PM
  • Mississippi Farmer’s Market
    8 AM – 2 PM
    Mississippi State Fairgrounds
  • Mad Hatter Tea Party
    Mississippi Children’s Museum
    10 AM – 2 PM
    Enjoy sipping tea with the characters from Alice in Wonderland at the Mississippi Children’s Museum on Saturday, March 26 beginning at 10:00 AM! Wear your Easter best while you learn proper tea party etiquette and watch a scene from the story. Learn some egg-dye science, create a juice ball, put your senses to the test with a tea-tasting activity and more! Free with general admission.
