Rudy Giuliani speaks at Mississippi College, weighs in on GOP race

CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani stopped by Mississippi College to deliver the keynote speech for the school’s annual scholarship dinner.

Giuliani talked about a wide range of topics including national security, the fight against terrorism and politics.

He had the chance to meet with some of the students before his speech.

Giuliani was once a presidential candidate.

He shared who he thought was the best pick for the presidential nomination on the GOP side.

“I think John Kasich. Who I admire very, very much, think would be a very good president. I think John is too far behind. So I really do think its Trump or Cruz. And, if I had to guess, I would say Trump,” said Giuliani

Giuliani is credited for his leadership during his time as mayor of New York City when the September 11 terrorist attacks happened.
