JACKSON, Miss (WJTV) – A Jackson woman wants the city to fix a leak that is flooding her yard.
Rosie Robertson lives on Lemly Ave and says a water leak on city property, is causing her front lawn to flood.
Water has also settled in her driveway causing a health risk.
She said that she has called the city multiple times since last August, but nothing has been done.
“I’m disgusted,” said Robertson “I’m allergic and with the smell and the mosquitoes it’s gotten bad.”
Robertson provided WJTV the work order number she was given when she called.
WJTV reached out to city spokeswoman Sheila Byrd.
Byrd said Robertson’s address didn’t show up in the system for repairs but said she will pass the request to public works.
