(WJTV) — The Jackson Police Department has identified the suspect in the shooting death of James Hankins.
They believe Joshua Dukes is responsible for his murder.
Dukes was already in jail on two counts of capital murder in the shooting death of two men on Westhaven Blvd.
It happened on March 5th.
Authorities tell us Hankins was shot in the head on February 13th while he was doing yard work at his home on McCluer Road.
We’re told the suspect shot him, took his wallet and then later fled from the scene.
Dukes is facing another Capital Murder charge in connection with Hankins’ death.
Police say more charges or arrests are possible.
