Jackson firefighters put out early morning house fire

Jackson, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson firefighters worked early Tuesday morning to put out a house fire.

It broke at a home on Queen Eleanor Lane around 4:15 a.m. A neighbor says she woke up and saw the fire and immediately called for help.

Firefighters got the fire under control by 4:33 a.m. When authorities searched the home, they didn’t find anyone inside.

Fire officials tell us no one was hurt.

We’re told the homeowner was renovating the house.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
