JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson Police have made two arrests in connection with the Noble Street homicide investigation. They are looking for a third person who they believe is also connected to the crime.
Police have charged 15-year-old Zimarious Harden and 25-year-old Malcolm McLaughlin with capital murder. They are searching for 24-year-old Shaneka Brown.
21-year-old Kiaris Porter was found dead in the middle of Noble Street near Faulk Boulevard on April 29. Porter was shot multiple times.
Investigators learned that Porter was last seen in a black Dodge Charger before he was found dead. Police determined that he was shot in the car and then left on Noble Street.
Police were able to identify McLaughlin as a possible suspect in the investigation; He was arrested at a motel for possession of marijuana and for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. McLaughlin was then identified as a suspect in the homicide investigation and was charged with capital murder on May 4.
Detectives determined that Harden and Brown were also suspects in this incident. Harden was arrested, but police are still looking for Brown.
