JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson Police have made an arrest in a carjacking investigation.
Police said 29-year-old Daniel Henry is charged with auto theft, armed robbery of an individual and aggravated assault.
Police went to Congress Street after a woman was shot in the hand and carjacked at 5:40 a.m. Friday. The suspect left the scene in the victim’s black Infiniti.

JPD said they were led to Louisiana Avenue where they found both vehicles behind separate abandoned houses. JPD detained three people for questioning on Virginia Avenue.
Henry was then charged in connection with Friday’s carjacking. The other two people were released.
