The identities have been released of the man and woman found shot to death Saturday night in Warren County.
Surrenda Davis’s death is the result of a homicide and Edward Vaughn’s death is the result of a suicide.
Davis and Vaughn were married.
They are survived by three children. Also, Davis left behind a teenager from a previous relationship; ranging in ages from two to 17.
WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace confirms deputies responded to a call at the 200 block of Lakeside Drive around 8:30 Saturday night.
At the home, they found a man and a woman dead on scene. Deputy Coroner Kelda Bailess pronounced the two people dead.
Sheriff Pace says the man and woman appeared to be married and suffered gunshot wounds.
Though the investigation is in its early stages, deputies believe it was a murder-suicide.
Officials have not been able to get ahold of some of the family members, so they are not releasing the names of the deceased at this time.
The bodies are being transported to the state crime lab for an autopsy to be performed.
