Man charged in McDonald’s robbery, in jail for armed robbery in Flowood

FLOWOOD, Miss.(WJTV) – The man who robbed a McDonald’s in Jackson Wednesday morning is jail for the same crime in Flowood.

Jeremy Lee Watson, 34 of Pearl, was arrested less than 10 hours after robbing the Kangaroo Convenience store located on Lakeland Drive according to a press release by the Flowood Police Department.

Watson entered the store with a weapon, demanded money and then left the store with an undetermined amount foot.

Watson was arrested at his grandmother’s residence in Clinton several hours later.

Further charges may follow because Watson is suspected of a robbery at the McDonalds on Woodrow Wilson Avenue in Jackson.

Watson is currently in the Rankin County Detention Center.

He is charged with one count of armed robbery.

Watson faces three years and up to the possibility of life in prison.
