JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson Police are investigating a restaurant burglary that happened on Gallatin Street.
Commander Tyree Jones of JPD said the break-in happened around 5:24 a.m. at Ms. D’s Southern Cuisine.
We’re told that the thief entered the business through the air conditioning vent over the stove.
The owner told WJTV that the person that broke in got away with about $5 in change. The owner said she will have to make some repairs in the kitchen before she can reopen.
She also said this isn’t the first time someone has broken into her business. She plans on getting security cameras installed.
