14 A/C units stolen from Woodridge Apartments

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — An apartment manager will have to spend thousands of dollars to replace more than a dozen air conditioning units stolen over the past few weeks.

The manager of the Woodridge Apartments on Raymond Road said 14 A/C units were stolen in the last two to three weeks.

He said the thieves have been coming to the property stealing a few at a time. He said his residents notice that the units are missing once it gets too hot, and the apartment isn’t cooling.

Jackson Police are investigating the thefts. The manager said each unit that he will have to replace will cost about $500 to $600.

Anyone with information about the stolen units, contact police.
