(MEDIA GENERAL) – One brave ball boy decided to crash the Portugal men’s soccer team photo Wednesday, getting a laugh from star forward Ronaldo.

As the team gathered for the photo prior to their Euro 2016 semifinal match against Wales, the ball boy approached and greeted several players, and, well … he just stuck around. The ball boy loitered on the outskirts of the group and leaned in when it was time for the group photo.

Cameras caught the reaction of Ronaldo, standing on the end, who noticed the ball boy photobombing the team. After the team photos were taken, the ball boy got another hug from the star player wearing a big smile.

Ronaldo would keep his smile, too, as he scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Wales to send Portugal to the Euro 2016 championship match. Portugal will face the winner of the Germany/France semifinal to be played Thursday.
