MADISON, Miss. (WJTV) — The Mississippi Department of Transportation will intermittently close lanes on Highway 463 for a paving project.
The lane closures will be on 463 from Highway 22 to Mannesdale Road in Madison County. The intermittent lane closures will start Thursday and continue into the fall. Workers will conduct the lane closures from 9 a.m until 4 p.m. weekdays and will be restricted during peak times. MDOTSome work may occur on weekends.
Flagmen will be on site to direct traffic. Drivers should use caution as MDOT crews and contractors will be present.
Crews will level the roadway and repave about eight miles.
The project is estimated at $3.5 million.
