JSU trying to get going on the ground in 2016

WJTV – Last season, Jackson State never really got around to former head coach Harold Jackson’s goal of getting the team’s running game going.

The Tigers finished ninth, next to last, in the SWAC in rushing offense in 2015. They ran for 101.1 yards per game.

Tony Hughes and his player say the team is emphasizing becoming a more physical team with a better running game.
