Sentencing tomorrow for Mississippi woman who pleaded guilty to aiding terrorist organization

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WJTV) – Sentencing is scheduled to take place tomorrow for a woman from Mississippi who pleaded guilty to planning to travel to Syria to join a terrorist group.

Jaelyn Young was 20 years old when she was arrested.  Her fiancee, Muhammad Dakhlalla, was 22.  He pleaded guilty as well to aiding a terrorist organization.  His sentencing is scheduled to take place on August 24, 2016.

They face a maximum penalty of twenty years in prison, a $250,000, and a lifetime of supervised release.
