Texas fugitive, 1 other arrested in Flowood during traffic stop; 3 children also found in car

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Two people from Texas are arrested in Flowood during a traffic stop for having drugs and for being in a stolen vehicle.

Police took 25-year-old Allison Eades and 49-year-old Ted Sipes into custody.

They were pulled over on Lakeland Drive.

Officers determined that the vehicle there were traveling in was reported stolen in Texas and that Sipes was a fugitive from that state. They found narcotics and stolen identities with financial documents also in the car.

Three children were also in the car with the two suspects. Police said the children ranged in age from 7 months to 5 years old. They are now in the custody of the Department of Human Services.

Sipes and Eades are charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of a stolen vehicle and child endangerment. Other charges are pending.

Their bond is set at $600,000 each.
