CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) — Clinton Police need your help identifying a person wanted in credit card fraud investigation.

The police department released a surveillance photo of the person they are looking for at this time.

ON August 27, a woman said her debit card was used at a restaurant on Springridge Road.

She also noticed three other transactions posted on her bank statement the next day that she did not make. The bank was notified of the fraudulent charges, and the card was canceled.

Investigators determined that learned that the charges at the restaurant were online to-go orders and paid for through the restaurant’s online payment system. Restaurant managers have been assisting CPD with the investigation.

Clinton Police are looking for the woman in the surveillance photo. She will be charged with credit card fraud once she is arrested. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect can call the Clinton Police Department at 601-924-5252 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
