WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — Two people are under arrest accused of stealing mail in Warren County and trying to get personal information for identity theft.

Deputies tell WJTV that they recovered mail from 70 different locations.

The mail was found after a neighbor reported a suspicious black dodge truck along Porters Chapel Road. Deputies found that truck on China Grove Road and were able to arrest two people on Monday.

Jeremy Anderson and Ondraya Wroten of Arizona are in jail.

“This is another case that just took a phone call from an alert citizen to report this and it looks like these individuals were obtaining this information not only for the credo cards that were already in there but to obtain personal identification for the purposes of identity theft,” Sheriff Martin Pace said.

The sheriff’s department is working with the postal service on this case.
