UPDATE: Boil water advisory lifted for Lake Ridgelea Subdivision in Byram

UPDATE: According to the City of Jackson, the water advisory for the  Lake Ridgelea subdivision has been lifted. This area receives its water supply from the City of Jackson.


BYRAM, Miss. (WJTV) — A boil water notice has been issued for a subdivision in Byram.

Residents who live in the Lake Ridgelea subdivision should boil their water until further notice.

This affects 300 customers. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute for the following: cooking or baking, making icecubes, taking medication, brushing teeth, washing food, mixing baby formula or food, mixing juices or drinks feeding pets, washing dishes and all other consumption.

Residents will be notified immediately when the advisory is lifted.
