Domestic abuse – the physical, mental, and emotional violence and intimidation of wives, husbands, partners and children occurs in 30 percent of all households in America.
The Domestic Abuse Family Shelter, a non-profit agency serving 11 counties in the Pine Belt assists families subjected to domestic violence by providing safe sanctuary and other essential needs.
