Domestic Abuse Family Shelter

Domestic abuse – the physical, mental, and emotional violence and intimidation of wives, husbands, partners and children occurs in 30 percent of all households in America.

The Domestic Abuse Family Shelter, a non-profit agency serving 11 counties in the Pine Belt assists families subjected to domestic violence by providing safe sanctuary and other essential needs.

The last weekend in September has been selected as “Support the Shelter Weekend” in all places of worship in the Pine Belt. You may contribute when you attend services then, and find more information about Domestic Abuse Family Shelter on Facebook.
