2 arrests made after Ridgeland homeowner robbed, forced inside home


RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) — Two people have been arrested in connection with a robbery where a Ridgeland homeowner was forced back inside his house and held at gunpoint.

Ridgeland Police Chief John Neal said they’ve arrested two people in connection with the crime. They are also looking for additional suspects.

On Monday around 7 a.m. a resident was in his garage on Wendover Drive and was approached by two men with guns. The victim was forced to go back inside. His wife was also at home when the robbery occurred.

The robbers searched the house for valuables and took money and jewelry.

We’re told the investigation is still active, and police are following more leads.
